I bought a cheapy Paper Straw hat which has a nice ribbon in blue. 12 Euro is a good price for a hat if you don’t want do crash your straw hats on a long car ride to your vacation.

Hückel Weilheim "Chamois", 58 cm, possibly mid to later 1950s. Another gray Hückel Weilheim "Chamois" with a small Blue Jay feather so apparently they came with the hats. Click On Photos!

Steve, Thank you! A thinner ribbon variant. I think the color will come out better with natural light. I will wear it today and take some photos.

LOT to like about this one! Love the mid-ribbon and stiched edge! Nice find!

Excellent addition to what must be a herd of these you already own, Steve. This brim treatment we've not seen before on one of these I think.

Stefan, Thank you! Yes I have a few of these. I think you are correct regarding the brim treatment. Also the bow design at the thinner ribbon width.

That is one heck of a nice Mayser Trilby, Georg. Super colour, lovely wide ribbon, and great looking teardrop crown. Nicely worn, too.

Wegener "Extra", 58 cm, possibly later 1940s early 1950s. I tend to think this one is older because of components. The felt is great and easily dry creases. There are some issues due to wear but nothing too bad.

Here are a couple of pictures of my Lembert velour.....MUCH darker than it photographs.......very dark green.....velour is realy, really, nice! Just over 2 3/8 brim.....works well with brim up as it has a nice flange. Tag was stuck to the liner...(am showing the remains).......liner is currently out and drying after a bath....as it needed it! Strange really...rest of hat is immaculate......maybe beer stains:eek::rolleyes:;););) on the liner.....but gone now.;)....no tip protector. Some loss to the logo......
Did I say the velour was really nice?!?!;) Did a simple center crease only..........
So this appears later......liner was glued in.....label looks 70's? 80's?
    You tell me.......thanks,
