I'm reading her autobiography and that woman knows how to tell a story! I can't seem to put the book down! I was wondering if anyone has any similar reading material to recommend. I love a good autobiography from that time period! It's like peeking into a window!

The autobiography Ecstasy and Me by Hedy Lamarr is incredibly good. But be warned: it is also quite shocking. That woman lived one helluva life.

If you want to know a little bit more on Miss Rogers then read the other side of the coin so to speak: Steps in Time: An Autobiography of Fred Astaire.

If you want to know what being The Queen of Hollywood was like, in the 1930s, then reading "Norma Shearer: A Biography" by Gavin Lambert is a must.
