    Here's my favorite: It's Wladislaw Benda's "Golden Peacock" mask. Benda was a Polish-American artist who did innumerable magazine covers and illustrations from the 20[s-50's, but he came to specialize in the theatrical mask. I think this one is the most exemplary art work of the Deco period. golden peacock mask.jpg
