Everything in the article appears to be true. Sensational reporting made up of quotes from an attention seeking, self promoting artist. He probably did say what they quote him as saying. Having a good yarn is one way of getting attention/selling more of your work. Maybe I'm just a cynic... Then again, maybe his hats actually do smoke cigars when no one is looking...

They do seem to be on the hat racks & hooks a lot different than I remember placing them there....hats, not my dogs...they squirm like hell on the hooks!!!!

Why assume the hats are responsible ? Wouldn't the first suspect be a "smoking" jacket ?
