Bob, I'm itching to steam and iron that back to a pristine open crown and give it a new bash!

  2. Me too, but my wife won't let me touch it. She likes to wear it as is.

Grey on grey, a great combo on this Gannon. Nice Eric. Spending the evening watching NCAA Super Six Gymnastics. Our OSU Girls didn't make the Super Six, but, Yay for them. Oklahoma is there, didn't you say some of your elite gymnasts are on the team?

I apologize if I have posted this one before, but here is the Gus/Tom Horn crease I put on my Nullabor Tan Akubra Bushman. I think it gives the hat an early 1900s Stetson look.

Thank you for all the likes and positive comments on my Akubra Bushman yesterday - but you may be taking them back today. I have always liked the way the crown came out (from the front), but I started playing around with the hat last light and added dents to the back, making it a kind of “Gus/Diamond.” The only thing I never liked about the original crease was the plain, round, look of the back of the crown. I know I’ve seen this done somewhere (probably on TFL), but can’t remember. So - better or worse?

Both of those look great! I was probably subconsciously plagiarizing your crease!

I too did something very similar on one of my open crown Stratoliners (the silverbelly) to both make it interesting and provide more dimension to the pale color.....my wife really liked it on this hat....
I believe it is posted earlier in the thread......but will post again if I can find the image......
    Cheers,

  19. Can't take credit for the Worth-Walden. It was creased when I bought it, but after receiving & liking it I creased the diamond in the Rand.
