Chag Pesach Samech!
Todah rabah my friend... hope you are well.
One of our coaches had a birthday today. The gymnasts and I planned a special celebration for her. I set it in motion depending on the girls and parents to follow through. Unknown to me the girls felt bad that they missed my birthday that fell during the closing of the gym due to the pandemic. A couple of the younger training team gymnasts, during the planning of the celebration, thought I was probably really missing not having hair and so they suggested I should also have a gift and that it should be hair. The parents went out and arranged the gifts and some celebratory food treats.
Imagine my surprise that I got a gift and that it was hair. Big, hard laughs all day wearing the wig. It added to the humor that the girls parents got me a President Trump wig. The birthday coach and I have been ever so appreciative of being back with our athletes and today was soooo special.
Cheers, Eric -
With our first grandkid, born into paradise on July 19.
Beautiful... congratulations Alan!!
Congratulations to both the parents and the grandparents! You've obviously already got the kid started on wearing caps; hats can't be too much of a stretch.
CONGRATULATIONS Alan !!!
Congratulations, Grandpa Alan (and the new Bubbe)!!
Congratulations Grandpa @alanfgag !
Congrats to the grandparents and especially the parents. This is wonderful news.
Congrats to the Grandparents and of course to the parents. This is such welcome news in the midst of the worlds current challenges. Ah, the future gets brighter.
My most sincere congratulations.
Your first photo took me back to that special day for me. I was stunned at the resemblance. Thank you.
I know the indescribable joy you and your family will be blessed with by this little Princess.
I am so happy for you.
Wow... Bowen, same joy. Thanks to all for the good wishes. It is a special joy and privilege for us to be able to be here with our family to celebrate and help them through the first days of a new baby. I can hardly wait to pass on my antique little kid baseball cap.
CONGRATULATIONS ALAN!! Beautiful baby. Kinda has your smile/smirk!
Hope you're not planning to "smite" anyone...

Sharp pic. You look like a proud father, husband, Dad and grandfather.
Thanks Eric... maybe I’ll be lucky enough to post a great grandpa picture here down the road.
I'm loving those roundel spec frames. Eight years later you say, well, fifty three years ago today, she said yes when I popped the question. See, I did have hair.
