I am not an expert at all and I wonder what brand is this jacket. It's worn by Richard Harris in "Orca" the 1977's movie. It looks to me like a Schott but never seen one with the small pocket on the sleeve. Thanks in advance. 41507768_897702127082302_4457461005617725440_n.jpg

Don't know about the brand, but I do know about that small pocket. We had them on our flight suits and nylon flight jackets. It is a pocket for a pack of cigarettes. When I was in, all pilots smoked; now not so much.

I just checked my G-1 Jackets, including one 1962 issue jacket. None has the cigarette pocket.

Definitely has a Schott look along the zipper. Collar is probably detachable. Seems the French and German flight jackets had a thing for those cig pockets.

    Could also be a Cooper.

Yes, looks like a generic 1970's flight jacket, could be Schott, Reed or Excelled - if you're looking for one you'll need to hang out in eBay until something similar comes up. Some jacket models were only made for a year or two then vanished. Schott still work this way.

It’s not a military G-1; looks like it’s a 1970’s Wilson’s House of Leather “bomber” jacket. This one is for sale on eBay right now, size 44 (it’s not my listing).

I’ve watched ”Orca” afew times and I believe Richard Harris’ bomber jacket did have a white fur pile lining (like this one has).

There’s another Wilson’s bomber in size 40 on the ‘Bay as well. Looks to be a match for the jacket in “Orca”.
