Do any of us have this masterful cap. If so where do you get it. They had them at J peterman and now they are gone. I want one but a fitted one not adjustable.

It is a sports fishing cap, the extra long bill is supposed to give you more sunprotection for your eyes I guess.

It looks like the caps you always see the Chinese wearing.

I have one of these! The brim is made of soft deerskin. It is very nice. It is part of my Hemingway collection.
Peterman will bring it back this summer, I beat.
I have had mine since the early nineties.

  6. The cap that annoying chinese child was wearing in one of the Indiana Jones movies. Hopefully i can now get that d*mn kid out of my head. The most annoying character ... ever. Except maybe the dame from the same movie.

"Short Round" was wearing a New York baseball cap.

I like the dinner scene where he is introduced as "Mister Round" to the mahrajah and staff.

Same kid was great in the Goonies.

OK, here is mine. It is very functional. It has elastic in the back and fits quite well. The brim is made of deerhide and has interesting imperfections and is so soft.

It's a great fishing and adventure hat. :)

    It's Back

Mr. Peterman, bless him, has reintroduced some of our favorites in the latest Owner's Manual, including this Hemingway Cap. Price: $39.

I admit I have it, and I wear it quite a bit in summer too.
I've worn it fishing, playing baseball, walking the beach in the Dominican.
One size fits all elastic back, brass grommets.

    J. Peterman, who only operates as a website now, is selling it:

Well, not to seem disagreeable, but he has a full-fledged catalog business again, not just internet. That's why I referred to the current owner's manual and linked to the llisting. :)

So I just noticed that, Scotrace.
I am overjoyed I can order the counterfeit mailbag again!
