Hi..my first post here so hello to all. For some time myself and others have been trying to find the location of this train shown below to which there is no information at all about the country concerned the only clue is the drivers hat which seems to be specific to a certain region which brings me to the reason why i've come onto this site on the off chance a hat expert might know, i have given thought to a Kufi type hat but i'm not sure, the photo dates from around 1910..... So if anyone can help i would be very grateful. Please excuse the quality of the image but it's all that exists. Cheers, Colin.

Just a guess on my part;the second car appears to be one that would haul coal from mine.

Problem with a custom is that I am stationed in Germany. Not going to be able to go to a custom shop.

I'd be very surprised if you couldn't accomplish what you want via email exchanges with our own Esther Weis in Antwerp. She has made great hat for several members around the world. EstherWeis Milliner 21.jpg

Same answer here. We need better images, with the labels clearly visible.

Looks like a Stetson hat from the crest. Sweat looks to say "military specialty".

  13. Yeah, from what I can see looks like a Cavalry hat.

From your vague description, my guess would be mounted cavalry.
