Hitchcock Exhibit to Open at Northwestern U.

An exhibit at the Block Museum at Northwestern University, in Evanston, just north of Chicago, that focuses on how Alfred Hitchcock teamed with the whole creative team to produce his landmark films will open September 28 and runs through December, along with a great line-up of the master's movies.

The exhibit features some gorgeous production designs and storyboards --some fully realized, some mere sketches - that provide insight on how those indelible Hitchcock movie images came to life through artistic collaboration.

At Universal Studios in Florida, there was an Alfred Hitchcock exhibit called "Alfred Hitchcock: The Art of Making Movies", where they took you through films he made and tricks he used, including the shower that was used in Psycho and I believe the Statue of Liberty for one of his films where the character falls and how a green screen was used to show them falling. Something of that nature http://www.orlandorocks.com/info.asp?attraction=hitchcock&location=&type=

The shower was actually on wheels and abled the camera crew to just turn the shower to a different degree to get a different angle. If you look at the size of most private restrooms, they aren't big enough to fit a camera crew.
