Now, I wanted to offer this to J.J. Gittes first but it seems his PM box is full... so, I will wait to hear from him first but, I wanted to post this for those who may be interested in purchasing a vintage 1929 Hoover model 575.

Now, this is a very interesting model, the body is stamped 575 but, has the orange and black triangle badge like a model 700 and also the "Servant To The Home" logo stamped on the top of the motor! So, it's kind of a mystery machine.

However, the motor was fixed to good strong operating condition, it retains it's original motor cord with the spring sleeve and "HOOVER" stamped plug. The brushes are good and the fan isn't too chipped.

This Hoover is a restoration candidate, it will need one good wheel seeing that one is broken, the bag isn't original but will come with a better fitting Hoover replacement bag from the 50s. The bag clip isn't original but, should serve ok till an original bag and clip is found.

I'm asking $65. for this machine seeing the motors to these Hoovers go for more than $100!

Please contact me J.J. Gittes soon as you can so I know if you still want this.

Now, if J.J. passes on this machine, all other interested buyers may PM me or just post to this thread.

Thank you!

PS: I'll even throw in a new belt!
