Horrible hat weather

Some of you fellers may disagree, but it's so windy in L.A. today I almost lost my new porkpie! In fact, when I went to grab it I put some pinches in the crown! Luckily, they popped right out.

I'm not a fan of the wind trolley, but would they be of any use with hurricane-force gusts?

over here in Maryland, it's pouring rain. My hat's drying right now, so we're not having great hat weather either.

I'd think a wind trolley wouldn't be all that effective in super heavy wind. I haven't used mine all that much though. What do you wind trolley users think?

Here in Chicago, I try to tilt the hat down at an angle
when winds fly, or as a last measure reach for the crown.
Occasionally, I'll uncover and simply walk hat-in-hand.
