I don't know if I have posted this in the correct forum, but here goes.
This is the description:
This is a real find!---a real ivory fan( there are the striations on the fan tines, within the material, not on the top) and the ivory bracelet that is attached is made of 10 1/2" links that are intricately carved. We are also told that it is ivory by the original owner.The feathers are black maribou feathers. It was brought back from Japan in WW 2, so the story goes. Fan is 11" long when closed. It is in Excellent condition, and comes from a fine PA estate.
