Hi, my name is Portolan and I have a problem. I just bought my first Panama hat from Bob and I don't even know what I bought! I sent him some funds for a great hat, left the choice to him....That is what I do when I go to a nice restaurant....my theory is the chef should make whatever he enjoys making the most...it will turn out terrific. So, I did the same thing with Robert...paid him and let him make the choice....Can't wait to see what he comes up with. A nice Panama should be perfect for Florida. I gave him a few guidelines, but the final choice of a hat is up to him.

From my seminary days and a little checking...."Petasus" is a Latin word for a felt hat most often worn by travelers....So, I am well on my way to becoming a petasuholic.....I need help....
