I remember as a kid, going over to an afternoon rehearsal at Tanglewood with a busload of school chums. I assume it was Munch conducting, and the background noise (not us thankfully) from the lawn got to him and he whirled around and started screaming quiet down or get out: "Ve are trying to vork for your enjoyment!"

I'll never forget that oxymoron.
