Ice-O-Mat Ice Crusher

    I posted today about my vintage Ice-O-Mat... ice crusher.

    anybody else have one of these? They're great for cocktails and sodas...

    sure beats a hammer and a dish towel.

    My folks used one until the electric models came out. My Dad called it a knuckle buster.

    I have one. too, though it's an earlier model - prolly from the 20s-30s.

    I've also got the Juice-O-Mat and the wall-mounted Can-O-Mat can opener. The -O-Mat series of kitchen gizmos are beautifully made and nearly indestructible - all of mine are still in regular use. I particularly like the Juice-O-Mat - I don't think anything has ever been built that does of better job of squeezing oranges.
