Identification leather type Avirex A-2

Need your help to identify the type of leather of this jacket and the approximate date of manufacture. I just bought it.

Welcome to the forum. These Avirex jackets were first made in 1978 and yours looks like it was made in the 1980s. This one was most likely made from horsehide.
