Is it possible to put new sheene on older jacket?

I'm newer to this forum. I recently bought an Aero Half-Belt Long and a Johsons Leather (older jacket). I love the sheene (shine) on my Aero and wish the Johnsons had it as well...It seems that it has worn off in places over time as I believe the jacket is approximately 30 years old. Is there a way to shine it up without ruining it? Any advice welcome. Thanks in advance!

A couple thin coats of Pecards (or any leather product that has waxes in it) and a quick buff with a damp cloth will definitely give you sheen.
Just make sure you don't over apply and let it soak in 2 or 3 days before buffing.

I'd say Leave it...you're Jacket gets a time worn patina that makes it what it is...and you need to pride your jacket IMO on the character and wear. But that's me...if the leather is dry, you can oil it...but otherwise Leave it alone.

if you want a new Jacket look...get a new Jacket.

Leather is cool because of how it looks when it's broken in and worn.

I have used this product on many an old worn jacket. Works well for me.
