It's over my jacket and it's a coat... it's an overcoat though I'll call it a raincoat because... well it's a raincoat.

It's an overcoat as well so that's fine.

I have a similar raincoat from the 1950s labelled Schwartz of Allentown. It is weatherproofed gabardine imported from Great Britain. Buggy lined in satin and beautifully made. The button closure is hidden by a placket covering the front.
