I have known a lot of deadheads in my time and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one wearing an MA-1…
Funny that Schott chose that model because I can’t help but think that those patches would look much better on one of their denim or suede jackets.

Not sure on the MA-1 style but I've seen plenty of Grateful Dead patches on Vietnam style fatigue jacket. Not like the drafted really wanted to fight in that war so it makes sense a band like Dead would appeal to them.

That's actually not a new concept.

I have a black Avirex MA-1 that has military and military-style patches in much the same layout as the Dead jacket pictured. I won the jacket in a raffle about 30 years ago, but don't wear it much, as it rides up my waist.

This is the ultimate for SCHOTT shearling collectors the 212 aka “Marlboro Man” many people call many different jackets that but this is the true original Marlboro Man jacket. Made from some type of long hair sheep(?) I want one since a don’t have a pet lol
