I always consider that the most suitable caps for kid is newsboy and ivy type.

For toddlers, perhaps special "kids hat" is necessary, but for bigger kids, say age 4-6, I don't know if these kids head are growing much bigger than, say, compared to kids in the 1970s...it's much easier to buy them adult cap S or even M ! That equals up to size 7!
