Las Vegas MAGIC

We might be going to the MAGIC Apparel/Accessories show held in Las Vegas. We're hoping to scope out some new hat brands and maybe add some fine mens accessories. Has anybody gone before? I hear it's a huge show, any tips? Anybody planning on going in February?

Big Show

Sorry I haven't gone to this but wanted to recomend a few things, if it is a big show.
1) wear very comfortable shoes, you may have to both walk and stand alot.
2) Bring tons of business cards and a pen to write notes on them. Or a pad with your Business info preprinted on each sheet to give notes to the sales guys. If you write it they will respond!
3) bring an easy to carry bag or light knapsack to carry brochures and written info in.
4) Bring a Sharpie marker with fine point, why because these can write on anything and will allow you to write notes on glossy catalog paper
5) see if your cell phone can be enable to work in LV.
6) Bring bottled water for the show days.
7) Don't go on an empty stomach & be sure to take a break for a light lunch!

My family was in Las Vegas in early October. It actually wasn't that unbearably hot, considering you are constantly jumping from taxicab to show to cab to restaurant to cab to casino to cab to hotel (repeat).
Check out weather dot com to see what the temperature will be like, but you're still in the middle of the desert, so even though there is the illusion of water everywhere with fountains and water displays, the sun is beating down on you. Definitely drink water if you're walking around, and if you go out of the city into the undeveloped surrounding area bring water with you.
Have fun in Vegas. You'll sleep like a rock when you get back.
