Last AMERICAN survivor, and last survivor who could remember the event. There are two others in England who were under a year old at the time of the sinking, so have no memories of the event.

Wow... that's something to really think about! Thank you for sharing this... I've been a TITANIC buff since I was 9 years old. I recall when Robert Ballard discovered the wreck in 1985! It was big news!!! I was fascinated by the history and all there is about the ship... the whole story still carries punch to the soul 94 years after it happened!
