Late 40s/early 50s cowboy boots

Marked 8 1/2D, U.S. men's size. This is about a 10 for the ladies I think.
'Texas Special' made by Texas Boot Co.
Black with turquoise and silver inlaid eagles on front, red and white flame pattern stitching, and turquoise inlays around top. Silver and white piping. These have the slightly squared off toe and shorter tops typical of the era.

These have leather lined shafts, but vamp lining feels like cotton drill. Leather soles with wood pegs at arch and stacked leather heel.

There is some damage to the side seams of one of the boots. One place has been repaired in the past. Another will need some attention. More pics to follow. Leather is still fairly supple, and these should have a good bit of wear left in them.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Cindy. Hopefully they will fit someone. If they fit me I wouldn't even consider selling them.
