I saw this battered old Levi's jacket recently and bought it more out of nostalgia than anything else. It had started off as a 'bomber' jacket and originally had a zip in liner and detachable 'fur' collar, both now missing. I'm guessing that it is late 1980s - early 1990s vintage. I was in my 20s back then and remember seeing these types of jackets when I bought my 501s but never having the money for actually buying one at the time. I liked the 1950s style back then and still do. It is brown cowhide and the jacket was made in South Korea.

Very beautiful. At me this jacket causes nostalgic feeling too...

    Nice patina.

I have a very similar one in black. Maybe it’s the same model. The fur collar is still attached. Mine has warm padded lining and a detachable extra thick down liner. It’s a rather heavy jacket.

Interesting, your jacket looks quite beaten up on the outside and the lining looks almost new. Probably it was always worn with the zip-in liner.
