Looking for a dress (circa 1937)

I am a newbie. I knew already about this forum, but I have never post before. I am planning a retro photoshot and I have a problem with the dress because I am not able to find something similar from regular fashion stores... : I need a dress just like this in the photo.

I am not necessarily looking for an original vintage dress, a new one like this, could also be fine. Do you have some idea where I can find it?

If some of you can provide a pattern for sewing it myself, it would be also welcomed.

I wonder if Folkwear pattern number 239, the Blonde Bombshell, would fit the bill? It's described as a 1950s style but the construction seems to be similar.
