Looking for a good milliner

Even though this is a hat question I thought it would be best to post over here. I'm looking for a milliner, preferably in the Chicago area, who does custom work with felt hats. Do you ladies have any suggestions?

Second the recommendation for Barbara

I've met Barbara and been in her shop. She's a doll. Highly recommended.

Was in New York a few weeks ago and tried to visit Barbara to pick up a couple hats but I was a doofus and didn't call first - she wasn't open yet and I had to catch a plane.

I went into another milliner's shop that also does primarily custom work, but higher priced than Barbara. Unknown results, though the hats shown were nice.

Let me know if you need for me to hunt for her biz card.

Honey Doll posted an Etsy seller in the Hat Anguish thread awhile back. She does custom work and uses vintage hat blocks. Her work is beautiful and I came very close to buying a cloche I did not need

Thanks for thinking of me and posting my info.
Hope all is well.

Also, for general information ladies -
I do make custom hats as well - and special requests are welcome.
All my hats are handmade using vintage blocks, tools and techniques.

Many of my customers are from other states or other countries -
I ship worldwide.

I try to stop by and read up on the posts but often do not have time to add or reply. Thanks to all who have stopped by my site.
