I haven't heard of Glen Allen hats, but I threw a bid on this one just because it looked interesting. Turned out it was the only bid. According to an email exchange, it has a 2 3/4 inch brim, so it must have a fairly tall crown as well.

Oh, and here's my theory: I believe that a good portion of the folks out there are not familiar with the 'open crown' hat and that most hats used to come that way and that, when faced with one, they shy away. They believe that they are looking at a derby OR they aren't familiar with the stylizing and bashing that can be done.

Just my theory.

THe Brand

The Brand doesn't ring a bell with me. If it is not well known, add the open crown, you will get some reticence from the bidders.

Looks nice though, can't wait to see what shape you set it up to be!
