Mid-Fifties Stetson Nutria Quality in 7 1/4

Here's a rare old lid that awaits a head one size smaller than mine.

Dimensions: oval head space 7 3/4 by 6 1/2 inches, raw-edge brim 3 inches, open crown 5.5 inches, crown as shown 5 inches.

Sweat nice and soft, no popped stitches. Great, thick, dense felt. No stains or odors. Color varies indoors and out, but is accurate in the picture: a warm silverbelly.

Ribbon is not original, but still looks sharp. Evidence of prior crease, but nothing drastic.

It's true to size. Measure the oval of a hat that fits you welll, then compare to the measurements I took. Best to be sure.
