Can't say when it disappeared, but a great resource vintagemotorcyclejackets.com is gone.
Does anyone know of a similar site?
    Thanks!

That was a fascinating site. All the photos of various jackets made it really interesting. It's too bad that resource is gone. If anyone copied and saved any photos we ought to pool them into an archive for the Outerwear section. I would add that other photos of Vintage Motorcycle Jackets could be added as well along with info. Here is one I copied and save from awhile back; although I have no info on the manufacturer like vintagemotorcyclejacket.com included with each of their photos. tumblr_nh1bwbnzbn1tne920o1_1280.jpg

Thanks Lit Up! It brings up some, but not all the pages, so at least we have this much.

This is why I still like the Rin Tanaka book - it can't disappear off the web on me! ;)

And this is a good example of why books and solid state media are still useful. Also, this is why I systematically save interesting photos and articles I see on the interweb.

Certainly a good habit I should be more consistent in. Thanks for the reminder!

I love books, but if I get one more I'm going to have to move into the library...

I already have. My wife and I have enough books for a small library.

Until they invent a new format and you have to buy them all all over again. ;)
