Here's a nice find, which I updated today with a very nice vintage ribbon & bow, in "horizon" blue (steely).

Asking Price: $225.00

Era: Early 1950's based on oilskin sweatband liner.

Size: Marked 7 1/8, measures between 7-7 1/8 (56+ cm) with three different measuring compasses.

Brim: 1 1/2"

Ribbon: 1 7/16 (16 ligne)

Brand: Beaver Brand (Langenberg)

Felt: "One Hundred Percent Pure Beaver Fur." This is really amazing felt fellas, it creases easily to any shape with no steam. I have dozens of vintage hats, including a few 100% beaver, and this is far and away the nicest felt. It appears to have no lacquer, and does not need it.

Condition: Excellent in all respects, but for some "foxing" on the liner, which has a plastic tip protector.
