Need feedback on hat on eBay

Not many 7 7/8s come up on eBay, so I'd like any opinions or feedback on this. I'm not sure what to think...

Ask Art. He has some great hats. I think this hat is one Panama Bob said to avoid the "optimo blocked ones".

Maybe junk.

Yeah, that's one that PanamaBob is selling. He said to avoid the Optimo shaped ones (with the crease down the middle) because they weren't great quality.

Actually, there was one hat in particular that wasn?Ǭ¥t very good and I didn?Ǭ¥t want anyone on here buying it...it was a practice type hat, the lowest available price that isn?Ǭ¥t grueso in Montecristi.

Like I said, we buy from anyone just to keep them weaving.

This hat on auction isn?Ǭ¥t bad at all...especially for the price! I don?Ǭ¥t particularly like the style, but to each his own.

I'd say go for it!

I've got a fino Optimo from Robert, and I love it. It's not the neatest, or most fantastic blocking job I've seen, but the weave is great, it's incredibly comfortable, protects my red-haired, fair-skinned noggin from the sun, and is worth far more that what I paid for it! (in fact, I'm wearing it in the avatar pic!)

P.S. Robert, I sent a customer your way who was admiring my hat. Do I get a commission? ;-)

Canadave, I looked at the hat you mentioned and I thought that it wasn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t bad. My self I really like the center crease! It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a very classic 1930?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s style and I just haven?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t been able to find one that?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s vintage in a decent price range. I just might brake down and buy a new one from art when I have the cash. Some of these are better looking then others. But, this one in some ways looks a little more rounded on the crown then it should be. But, that?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s just me.

I am in no way an expert on panamas. But, most of these gentlemen are! So, I would take their advice and consult with Art. He?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a friend of mine and he really knows his stuff.
But, you seem to already know that.
