New here - questions re Dobbs Straw Fedora?

Hi everyone -
I'm new here, so I hope it's okay to inquire of you hat-knowledgeable people! I have a Dobbs fedora that my husband came across - I currently have it listed on ebay, but I wanted to see if anyone could maybe date it and tell me a little about it? I seem to have quite a few watchers and am not sure if there is something particularly special about this hat? My husband did look them up a little bit before listing it, but I just came across this handy board and thought I'd ask the hat-gurus what they think.....

Others can give you more information about the hat, but I'm guessing it's popular because it is a size 7 3/8. The larger hat sizes, from 7 1/4 on up, are most in demand on eBay.
