New to me Stetson

I was recently given this by a friend who bought this for her husband but the size was wrong for him. His loss, my gain.

I’ve been told this was a limited edition made to go with the release of Clint Eastwood’s film Pale Rider. Can anyone tell me how long these were made.

Stetson made 4-5 hats to be used in the making of the movie. Each of those movie hats were marked inside. One came up at auction within the last 5 yrs so marked & with provenance from the movie property company forward. There was no Stetson limited edition. You would have to check Stetson catalogs from 1984-1985 forward to see how long they offered a similar hat In their catalog. Many custom hatters still offer them today.
