Non-electric Hair Clippers

I'm looking for a pair of new non-electric hair clippers, like from the old days. The thing is I remember seeing these in a link that someone here posted a while back and I can not remember the website. I think the subject of the thread was about shaving or Bay Rum but the web page was a business with old school barber items, and they offered a nice pair of these clippers.... anyone know where I'm talking about?

ps - I used the search feature and could not locate the link..

SOmetimes you will find the hand powered clippers in places that handle military surplus especially from the foreign countries.

I have a set of Wahl electric ones from Sears that work well and have paid for them selves many times over. Wahl is the remaining part of the Wahl- Eversharp company that made fountain pens and mechanical pencils.

Hand Clippers

The current main manufacturer of these clippers is called Bressant. I bought a set of the clippers and a set of guides for a young lady that does WW2 reenacting with us. She is a hairdresser, but helps to trim up the lads hair at reenactments. If you are going to use these make sure to buy a set of universal guides, they just clip on over top.

Here are a couple of websites with the clippers:

Great Info Scott... thanks a ton, I'm going to pick up a set to do my little boys hair with, the noise makes him crazy sometimes.
