I've had an Orchard G-1 for 17 years but the zipper has just broken. The quotes I've had for installing a new one are so astronomical that it would be almost as cheap to buy a new Orchard on my next trip to the US (to avoid the dreaded shipping cost, VAT and the Post Office "handling charge").
The G-1 has been a durable jacket that has stood up well to continuous use but I thought I'd try one of their A-2's next time. Has anyone got any experience of them ? How do they fit ? I'm a 42 chest but want to wear a sweater under the jacket. Any idea what size I should order from Orchard to achieve this ?
