Well it finally happened… after nearly 10 years of going to the thrift shops in my area... three fur felt fedoras turned up today. All three 60s maybe 70s style somewhat shorter brimmed hats. Two of unfamiliar brands and one Rossolino Milano velour like. Being not my size and considering brand style and condition…. I ended up leaving them in the wild.
The nicest of the three was probably this raw edge Barcelona which was “Designed by Roland your Hatter of Miami, FLA”. The first hat I’ve come across originally sold in a South Florida store. I wonder if this is a Beaver Brand/Langenberg product…. Couldn’t look under the sweat as it was stiff as could be and I didn’t want to crack it.
The second a rolled underwelt by Copley Square Hats. I almost grabbed this one for its cool little Liberty Bell pin
