Photo Reference for hat terms

Hi Guys!

In men's hats, particularly the Fedoras, every one references to:
this kind of pinch,
this type of crown
this type of brim,
and other such details.

I was wondering if the members would care to take some pictures and descriptions of these features for the FAQ section.

I'd love to see a Crown section where there is a picture or pictures of a "C" crown versus other types of crown.

The attached written description would help define the feature and point out stuff like:
how much higher the front is than the back,
where it is normally found,
what the parameters are to have this feature and not something else. Maybe comparisons of similar but different features.

And of course where ever there is a feature there usually is a benefit. The same for Brims or styles or what ever comes up in the selection of a hat.

Does anyone have anything about how a hat should be selected as to the type of head shape you have?

Out there in the annals of hat info is a lot of hard won information and if it can be gathered together in one place it would be good. Perhaps it could be put together and published.

With warmest regards,

john in Covina
