The beauty and variety of "antique" radios will be on display in Orange on February 20 when the Southern California Antique Radio Society holds its auction. Colorful plastic radios, beautiful wood radios, ornate floor-standing console radios, "ham" radios, and military radios are expected. Buyers will be able to spend as little as a few tens of dollars to hundreds or thousands of dollars. Some radios will be fully restored, while others will be in "as-found" condition.
The location is just off of the Chapman - Glassell circle at 146 N. Grand St. Check-in starts at 7:30am and the auction begins at 10:00am. After the auction, attendees may enjoy the antique shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Details are on the club web site at: http://www.antiqueradios.org
