pedantry alert

That can't have been too hard to do really, most of the shots are from Secret of the Incas, which everyone knows was one of, if not the, main influences on the whole Indy schtick. His hat was a classic Aussie digger's hat as well apparently, a nice early check for us there!

Thanks for posting that clip/homage.

I always thought Chuck would have been a great choice as Henry Sr. He somewhat resembled Ford, and he had the right accent. He would have been only 57 when Raiders was filmed.

I think the last scene in that clip ("where's my hat") is from "The Greatest Show on Earth," another movie in which Chuck dons fedora and leather jacket.
