Rainbow Country Leather Jacket ID

Good afternoon all,

I'm a long time lurker and have been using collective knowledge on all things leather for some time. Now I have an curious one which I was hoping those with an interest in Japanese leather manufacturers and classic leather silhouettes can shed some light on.

I recently saw this for sale: a Rainbow Country leather jacket, which looks very like an Aero Highwayman / Real McCoys Steinbeck - basically a 1930 sports jacket.

It seems it's custom, although I'm not sure. The leather looks absolutely fantastic and I'm keen to track something down which is similar. The only reason I didn't snag it was that the measurements were a standard medium excepting the chest which was super small.

Any help from the hive mind would be greatly appreciated.

Do you need it in black Shinki?
The cut is not Hywayman though the details are similar. Thedi might get a close match for fit and style. If you choose to go aero, maybe try the Vicenza. You might be able to replicate the fit with a Seven or Sheene, but the Aero collar is different than the RC.
Wish I'd seen this jacket! My size and all ;).

Awesome, man, many thanks for the information and indeed for finding the said jacket.

Blackadder, you are a star.

In terms of fit, as I'm not going to be able to try this on, how does Rainbow Country compare to Eastman in terms of fit?

Do not own any Eastman. The only Eastman I ever tried on was a custom order Roadster with everything shortened and perhaps slimmed down. Well, the measurements on Japanese shop website are normally pretty accurate. These Japanese jackets have narrow shoulder and small armhole so would feel pretty tight even if the chest fits.
