I saw Deliverance when it first came out. A good movie with good acting and an excellent performance by Burt.

My other half interviewed him a few years back. She said that he was charming and funny, though she was told not to go near two topics: Burt's finances and his hair. After the interview she was standing outside and realised she'd left her tape recorder back inside the interview room. She walked in just as Burt was leaving, and though he was polite, he was also obviously irritated at the fact that she was seeing him without the carefully-arranged lighting, revealing the extent of his very poor plastic surgery.
