Thanks so much - I'll try that if I can find that brand here.
GHT, your wife looks beyond lovely! My most sincere compliments!
Antje, thank you so much for explaining the wave! I've always wondered how it was done, and never got around th finding out.
drappa:hema is a dutch department store.I dont think that they are any the Uk. But they are online!
Hello all. First time (bravely) posting. Here is my hair right after it's been taken out of a pincurl set, then LOTs of brushing, brushing, brushing and finally pomaded and clipped into submission. Sorry for the poor lighting (and try not laugh too much ;-) )
My hair today. The curl is long gone but I don't think I did a bad job. I'm debating the blond though. Half the time I love it, the other half I feel like I look trashy and have bad roots. Thinking of dying it pink.
I think you look lovely. Very stylish.
Here's my normal daily hair do, I'm hoping to grow it long enough that I can do barrel curls!
TheSwingingBee I love it!
a couple of my latest do's
How cool is that? You look great, and very happy too
Antje, simply beautiful! I love the color!
Antje, all of those are just gorgeous!
Well, I haven't bothered to do much with my hair lately because it was just getting too long. I hadn't done pin curls in about a year! But I finally got a haircut this week and tried some pin curls again (a dry set). I am rusty, and I didn't have any product to use, so the curls went rather limp right away.
You can kind of see from morning to afternoon how quickly the curls dropped.
Still, I think I'd like to make pin curling a habit again. I quite liked how it turned out.
I ADORE this one.
Got a new hair color and I love it. I liked the black but really wanted a change.
Love the new color, shebear!
Thanks! I am loving it too! I have never had my hair even remotely red but I really like it! She actually did the ombre thing to it so the back is more of a chocolate brown and the ends are the red color.
Hi, I'm another long time lurker, and this is my very first post, as well as my very first vintage set. Up until a week ago, I had hair down to my bra strap, and quite unmanageable. Last Tuesday I had it cut in the best approximation of a middy I could get my stylist to do, and this is the result of putting it in simple sponge rollers and keeping it overnight. I got very frustrated while curling, but the result isn't too bad for a first time set in my book...
I do hope this image posting turns out ok.
edit: I was also going to apologize for the webcam pics, I don't have a digital camera on me at the moment.
