10pm on the PBS station KOCE (open air 50.1) will be showing Max Raabe and the Palast Orchestra in a concert from Carnegie Hall.
The tour is 'Heute Nacht oder Nie" or auf English Tonight or Never. The music is in the style of the mid to late 1920's the Weinmar Republic era Berlin, sort of related to that what you see in the musical Caberet only even better. Max Raabe is the lead singer and is a performance artist who's whole personality on stage is from the 1920's.
If you live in Southern California you may get this open air or you can check to see if your satelite or cable has KOCE, if it does you are in luck!
Please watch this while sipping a cocktail or champagne with your spouse or significant other, your choice. Be prepare to be transported back in time. This is a great concert to see, I saw them at Royce Hall with friends this year and it is stunningly vunderbar und fabelhaft. Tschus!
