Well, the latest offering from the wardrobe of Kurtz is this wonderful tweed sportcoat from the 30s/40s. (I'm not exactly sure, but i'd put my money on late 30s/early 40s.) It is a light brown variegated herringbone with a lovely blue windowpane overcheck, though from a distance it looks like a wide-spaced pinstripe. This one is priced to sell! PM for details.

Is skeleton lined in peach-salmon pink satin with taped seams. Lining has issues, however - some detachment, some tears, some major tears. nothing that would prevent wearing it.
Cuff buttons, showing detail of the weave and pattern:
And two nice touches: The thread to hold your buttonhole flower stem in place, and a fabulously constructed change pocket inside the right hip pocket. Typically these are formed by sewing in an extra slice of lining into a crude cup shape. As you can see, this one is infinitely more elaborate:
Measurements: Approx 39-40
Chest: ~22.5"
Waist: ~20"
Length: ~31" from base of collar to hem down back seam
Arms: ~25.5-26" from shoulder
Shoulders: ~19.25"
Issues. There is a moth hole at the side seam behind the arm. I'll get a photo of this this evening. It is not major, and is not something I would worry about, but i have a tolerance for these things. That, i think, is the only issue i can see except the noted lining troubles.

Update: Here's a pic of the moth holes on the side seam. They're small and i *think* they'll be un-noticed when jacket is worn. you might want to put in a couple of stitches to close the holes - this is what i would have done if it ft me.
