    Good afternoon gents (and any ladies reading this as well),

    I've been lurking for a while, so I thought I'd link an offering to you as my first post.

    All the illustrations show the jackets with their bottom button fastened.

    I don't think that back in the day it was the faux pas it seems to be today.

    The proof is in the pudding as they say. I've just posted a series of scans from the J.L. Taylor men's fashion catalog from 1927. Pay attention to the lower button on the jackets...
