I thought some of you may enjoy seeing the details of Stetson's finest western, the 1000X Diamante.

It was purchased by a member of the Lounge who has been most patient waiting for the hat. I'll let him provide the story of the long wait if he decides he wants to make himself known.

Ok, I admit it - it was me. 1000X is 333 times better than "triple x", AND the diamonds don't taper at all in the rain. Just rolls right off 'em.

Well, whomever it was that purchased it, it's beautiful. I do love the classic western hat. Don't know if I'm ready to drop a grand on a hat yet, though.

Yes, regular retail price for this hat is $5000 but this hat was sold for $3000. We just had to increase the price ($3400) because the shipping fees were much more than we anticipated. You don't want to be sending this hat through regular ground channels.

Well if that's the price, I'll take two please.

number 524, did they really sell 523 others? Over
two and a half million bucks right there, at regular retail.

Perhaps they could put a third of that into a department
that produces Mode Edge felt bodies?
