Superman Comicbook Collection 1939-1943

Here are some pictures from the book of Superman comics I have, which stretches from 1939-1943. I quite enjoy looking at the clothes and hairstyles of the girls, and thought I'd share.
Sorry some are so fuzzy, but I'm not sure how to work our scanner so I've been using the camera.

Well, even though the scans are a bit blurry, one can still make out the clothes. Comics are often a good way to gage "fashion" eras.

I, too, love the clothes and such in the old Batman and Superman comics.
That is part of why I was a 1940s Clark Kent (with the 1940s Super shirt underneath) for Halloween last October.
