I saw some ads on TCM for this dvd catalog that (supposedly) lists all 30s-50s movies that are available on dvd. It is over 800 pages so it seems pretty comprehensive. The best part is it only cost $10, plus s/h, so I pre-ordered a copy yesterday. Anyone else see this? Thoughts?

I received mine in the mail today! It is pretty big, with newsprint paper and thousands of movies (with plot synopsis'). Definitely recommended.

Isnt it easier just to search TCM's website? The catalog is out of date the moment they printed it. New DVDs are constantly being released.

True, but then again you can't drag your hard drive into the W.C.

I was going to skip this because I figured it was Turner's library alone... but it seems to be truly comprehensive. Might be worth the buy.

What is the "W.C"???

I like the book because if I am sitting in front of my tv and something comes on I can look it up rather than getting up and leaving the room to go sit on the computer. Once online I always get sidetracked anyway.

I've been to Europe enough times to know that it's water closet. They're a little smarter than we are on this side of the world, as they put the toilet in it's own little room, separate from the sink, vanity, etc.
