Tecovas Banderas – scuffs on bison leather: repairable or hideable?

Hi everyone,
I recently got a pair of Tecovas Banderas made from bison leather and they have some visible scuffs/abrasions (you can see them in the photos).

I wanted to ask more experienced folks here:

  • Are these kinds of scuffs on bison leather repairable?
  • Can they be hidden or blended with conditioning, cream, polish, or brushing?
  • Is it possible to restore the look of the leather, or is this type of wear basically permanent?
I don’t mind natural character, but I’d like to know what’s realistic before trying anything that could make it worse.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Polish, if it bothers you. There are acrylic fillers that can be used to slow splitting in leather, but they’re not easily polished over.
